Kendal is a Senior Supervising Attorney with the Mental Health Advocacy Program for Kids, representing Bristol County and based in the New Bedford Family Resource Center. Kendal also oversees the School Discipline Advocacy Program. Before joining HLA, Kendal served as a prosecutor for four years in the Bristol County District Attorney’s office. She became the lead prosecutor for the Attleboro high risk domestic violence team, overseeing complex prosecutions of repeat offenders and working with community partners to provide support to domestic violence victims. Kendal has tried dozens of cases and brings extensive litigation experience and trauma informed advocacy skills to her work. Kendal earned her B.A. from Saint Michael’s College. She earned her J.D. from the University of Massachusetts School of Law.
