Jessica is a staff attorney for the Mental Health Advocacy Program for Kids serving Berkshire, Hampshire, and Franklin Counties out of the Pittsfield Family Resource Center. Prior to joining HLA in November 2022, Jessica worked as a public defender and bar advocate, representing indigent clients in both trial and appellate settings. In addition, she volunteers her time as a development coordinator and member of the executive board for Berkshire Pride, which she helped found, and led Berkshire County’s campaign to promote a ballot question to protect transgender rights. Jessica holds a B.A. in American Studies from Williams College and earned her J.D. from the New York University School of Law, after which she clerked at the U.S. District Court in Brooklyn.
