Emely joined HLA in February 2023 as a Paralegal with the Mental Health Advocacy Program for Kids. She is currently studying Psychology and Criminal Justice at the University of Massachusetts – Boston and expects to graduate in 2024. Emely is an experienced preschool teacher who taught for four years in two schools, a role in which she participated in monthly parent support groups. She earned her high school diploma in Early Childhood Education and received her teacher certification in 2020. In addition to her work and studies, Emely has volunteered at Head Start and Cradles to Crayons.
